Stock 2.2 engine , what rpm do most of you shift at? Does your pull hard to red line or does it run out of power around 4500 rpm?

Lately, the past many months on a regular basis I shift early and am in 5th gear by 40mph. If Im feeling lucky or wanna stretch its legs I'll wind it out to around redline, even though it runs out of breath before that. Its fun :)

Mike did you get your 4kq up and running?

I usually shift around 3.5-4k during normal driving, and when I'm feeling "sporty" I'll shift more at about 5-5.5k. <hijacking> Now, if only my speedo told me somthing resonable... I wonder if my speedo sender unit is toast... What I can't make sense of is why is it off by 13 mph at 60 but perfectly on the "alignment" mark on the speedo, (although I guess at "0" mph any slight change on it will= a significant change ratio wise) Oh well, I suppose I'll be taking it apart once more to set it back more...</hijacking>

it depends on mood, but now that she's running just as she should, I find 6,000 RPM coming up more and more often...
