I know about Peter Brennan's service nightmare at Pray, but I'd like to know if anyone has had
a bad purchase experience, particularly if you bought a used Audi at this dealership.

I recently purchased a 95 S6 Wagon at this dealer and as you can guess, I am not happy with my purchase, since it seems that they lied to me about several service items.

II will be sending a letter to the General Manager about this fiasco on Monday. I will likely post it here as well as on the quattro list at www.audifans.com.

If you would like to email me details of your story, I'm sure the dealer would like to know that there are N customers who also feel they got shafted at Pray.

For those not in the know, Pray Audi in Greenwich CT has been the #1 dealer in the US in terms of sales for the last few years. They were recently sold to "New Country" and are now known as "New Country Audi of Greenwich".

What did they lie about??? We got our car from Mohegan Lake Motors (upper westchester).. Very pleasant buying experience.. Pray/New Country #1 in sales??? Pray's prices are always non-competitive.. Plus they're snooty, & condenscending.. Maybe people in Greenwich have too much money and don't care but I see a lot of Audi's around there..

I don't have anything good to say about them either. In a place where the medain home value is over $500,000, people just walk in and buy stuff on the spot with no research. When I walked in with all the invoice pricing and refused to pay 10-15% over invoice, they acted snooty and tried and make me feel like I'm some kind of a cheapo. I basically told the guy to go #$!@ himself. At least we're lucky enough to have other dealers nearby.
