Had to buy your own cars, so high and mighty, eh
buddy. My first car was a 97 Grand Cherokee
(Brand Spankin NEW), but I didnt like it so
I got a 97 Firebird Formula (Brand Spankin NEW),
but it had some problems so I got an AUDI 1.8TQ,
(99.5, Brand Spankin NEW), and my parents bought
them all for me, and you know what I'm glad I have
such great parents who worked so hard (both grew
up in the projects) to give me what I have, I'm
proud of them, and appreciative of what they gave
me, I go to school at UF (after tossing the SAT's a beating), and I work at least 25 hrs. a week...so stick it, and stop whining, or get off
the forum, rocketboy....

Niall, you've got problems...There's nothing wrong with parents wanting to see their kids happy. And if you have the means, by all means...

I'd appreciate more detail concerning why you don't like the Bose. Is there something specific or is it just not worth the money?
What style of music do you typically listen to on it?
Congrats on the car.

system. After reading previous A4.org'ers posts I started to think that the system is not that great for a STOCK audio system (before purchasing). It is a bit pricey, but I know that you can listen to ANY type of music and pleased with the results. Get the option.

If you notice things move a LOT slower on weekends, that's because most folks post from work. Also, remember that A4.org isn't even an accurate sampling of A4 owners. Not to mention I have my question as to how many of the kids here are claiming ownership of mom/dad's car because they get to drive it, or just out and out fantasizing. From what I've seen it's definitely not a kid's car in my opinion, besides image really isn't significant.

I always seem to have a soda, or cell phone to deal with. Thank God for the one-touch-up on the windows when leaving a toll-plaza in the rain (why don't all cars have this?!) The manual is a blast to drive, and it's much faster than the Tip, but I realize now that the Tip fits my needs better. Maybe the new CTV will be available when I get a new car in a year.

All this tells me is that there are a lot of people out there that like to piss their money down the drain. Especially the people under 23 years old. These are people who have no responsibility or other wants for their money. What about a nice house, something that will give you an investment on your money. How about travelling to Europe or Australia or the Figi Islands, seeing the world. Let me offer some advice to those of you under 23 (just out of college and wet behind the ears), save your money. Buy an A4 2 or 3 years old and let some other poor schlepp take the financial hit. And.... for those of you leasing.... Wow, that's even a bigger disaster. Your renting a new car. Why not save yourself some trouble and go to Hertz. At least lease a used car. They have less depreciation and therefore better lease rates. By the way, if your parents bought you a new car, they're no brighter than you. Personally, I would be embarrased, not proud.
