Since I'm admittedly not the best ace mechanic- I do ok, but wouldn't do any more motor transplants like I did when I was in my 30's, so am asking for advice on what is appearingly a complex problem. I did a archieve search, and what came up there seemed to be covered by the parts in my post title.

Symtoms: loss of power @ 3100 - 3500 rpms @ highway speeds and up hills. The motor runs very smooth otherwise.

What I've done so far to correct it:
--r/r fuel filter [VERY dirty]
--slight timing adjust
--r/r air filter [not very dirty]
--discovered 3 small cracks in intake boot, repaired w/ JB weldsit.
--running 93 octane gas in last fillup

The cracks in the intake boot were a big "Ah-Ha!" and I really thought this was the prob. Had very good luck w JB Weldit in the past, so sealed all these. Maybe there's more on the underside that I can't see. It runs better w/ this haveing been done just yesterday, however still having intermittant loss of power. I was reluctant to remove the intake boot since it was already showing signs of wear, and didn't have a replacement in case it broke up when i removed it.ARRRGGGG!

Do you think it's the o2 sensor? I think mine's orginal equip.

Anything you guys/gals have to say would be appreciated. Gotta dirve this thing to Pennsylvania in May for some meeting or something..... {hah}

if it's causing you to worry now, it will definitely cause you to worry come May.

and if you don't know when you last replaced the OXS, it's also a good idea to replace.

look for other vacuum leaks, in the rubber hoses perhaps (replace rather than JB), the cruise control boot if you have it? look for hoses or wires that aren't connected.

good luck, and replace that boot! ;-)
