I'm loving my new A4.
Went into Audi of Bernardsville (NJ) last week, they had the exact model I wanted in stock, picked it up today.

It's a silver exterior, black cloth interior, sport seats, sport pkg, convenience pkg, xenons.

Unfortunately I'm kind of new at driving a stick.
Can anyone offer any tips? Those hill starts are driving me nuts! My clutch isn't liking it either. :)

BTW, I'll be getting my 1.8TQMSX soon and I'm no expert at driving up
here in the SF bay area either.

Good luck.

Ken,
Use the handbrake.
Handbrake on - As you feel the clutch start to bite start easing off the handbrake and increase power a little.
No rolling back and it's easy on the clutch - a required technique for the English driving test (or at least it was when I lived there).
If description doesn't do it, try to find a local friendly English person (driving enthusiast preferably - there are crap drivers there just like everywhere) to demonstrate.
Good luck with the manual - won't take you any time at all and you'll love being fully in control of the gearbox.

Regards,
Ex Brit Geoff

Use the hand break trick mentioned in another response, for now, but once you are truly "one" with the clutch, you'll make zero rollback starts on the steepest hills, without it!

Just takes a little time, and practice!
