Pulled the car in the garage tonight, and shut it off. Car is now ready to be put on jackstands and prepped for axle replacement, trans drop, yadda yadda. I need to borrow the correct size socket for the axle nuts, what size are those suckers again? Only thing I could do was take the strut brace off, wooo.
Any last advice, btdt? Im going to be asking alot of questions on and off again about this, and they could possibly be repeats. I have many forum printouts from you guys regarding all of this stuff.

Are you / have you considered rebuilding the shift linkage while its readily accessible? Got all the bits from the stealer when I did mine a while back. What a difference.
