I've been thinking about putting Recaro's into my newest CGT. The motor swap should be put into motion sometime this week (I hope). The performance parts is done, hopefully handling/suspension will also be dealt w/ during the swap. So I need to start focusing on the look/comfort now.

These are the Recaro's I want to put in. Left side of driver seat bolster seems to have the only wear. If I swap in VW seat, do I swap the sides around? Would the driver wear then become the passenger side???

And I'd swap out the old (& fugly) '84 panels for these nice leather panels.

But I have to buy the whole interior (Front & rear seat + 4 interior panels), can the rears be modded (anything can be, but w/o to much time/effort) to fit?

What's a good price for the fronts? what about for the full set (which is what I'd probably have to buy)?
Think it would be easy to sell of the 4 panels & the rear or would people not likely buy a broken up set?

Any suggestions for my newest project?
Ideas on exhaust setup? (It has no cat or computer, so that's nice)

The VW recaros woin't fit without some modifying. You'll have to heat the rear rails and bend them to get them to fit. As far as I've heard, the rears and door panels will NOT fit either. The prcing I've seen is from $300-500 for a full interior and as much as $500 for a perfect front only set.

I think it was around 500 for the set, but I also would have to find a way to get it to me.

Judging from the pics(I know it's kinda hard), what price would U pay for this set?

I know it depends where it's going to, but what's your shipping going to cost & what state are you in for shipping?

I can have the motor & panels done in time for Waterwagens, and then drive down w/ a bare car & get the seats.

The shop has the motor & car all ready to go, they just want more $$ up front for the big jobs like motor, tranny, etc..

So ya Ruskie poser, it's gonna be a reality.

Waterwagens
