When the sun roof is open, there is a thumping type wind noise that occurs between 30 - 40 mph. If I open one of the windows the noise goes away. Has anyone experienced this problem?

there should be a stop there and a break in the pattern printed on the control, at least on the 99.5s they do. If not, open the roof short of full open and it'll help reduce the thumping.

If you look at the switch to open and close the sunroof there is an empty part of the line (a bit before full open), open your sunroof to this line and the thumbing should go away.
