Hey guys, I'm new to this forum...but have been hanging out in the 90/80 forum for quite some time.

Just bought an 86 4ksq (Canadian). Question about the stereo, what size are the speakers stock front and rear?

Judging from the CGT post below I can only fit a 3.5" speaker in the dash, and might fit a 6x9 in the rear deck?

The fronts are 3.5" but have a dremel or some kind of precision cutting tool handy if you want to reuse the front grills. I actually fit 4" in there. You can fit 5.25" in the back with no problems. 6.5" is not bad either. 5x7 or 6x9 will fit with some cutting involved.

I put 5.25 2-ways in the rear deck, 5.25 separates in the front doors with the tweeters in the dash, and a 10" in the trunk.
