man it is Beautiful in b.c. man i wish it looked like that here in calgary were we getting -30 weather,my coupe i had to boost it,it was so cold all youd hear is the start clickicking when i turned the key.anyways nice lookin coupe.

I traced it off the originaly (fading style) at the junkyard, bought the silver sticker sheat and cut it out.

I like the fading rings better. But that's just my opinion. Nice car all around, though, the old school VW steering wheel is a nice touch.

of restoration. Now that I have finished it and put it on hte road, I will be going to the next one this month. If nothing unusual comes up.

Did you do anything with the upholstery? My seats are shot and I'd like to get original seat covers but I don't know where to start looking.

looks great, love the stearing wheel I,ve got one in my garage never even thought it would fit cgt same as my 4000csq? any way looks great!

re-upholstery puts a hole in your wallet.
Looking at about $400Can per seat (for leather) and about $200Can (for vinyl).
Personally I enjoy the velour feel a lot better, but the you just can't beat the look of the red leather!!!

They used to be like $700us a pair. But anyways, i think your car looks great and I am glad to see there are still a few other coupes still on the road!

I know that the A1 first gen wheels dont fit on the second gen A2 vw s and so but the cgt and 4000s originated at the same time as first gen A1 vw ... never thought of that ( I will have to try it its in my garage!)
