With the help and information of you A4.orgers I have ordered a rear sunshade from Clair for 39.99. (instead of the 440 canadian).
Someone suggested that the 440 dollar sunshade might be a power shade for the A6, the dealer denied that. It is the same manual shade designed specifically for the A4. What a huge difference in price.
Is installation difficult? Does it require any drilling on either the rear deck panel or the inside of the rear passenger roof?
Thank you.

You might try calling Clair back. On other items, as guidance, they said Audi usually uses clips because they do not like to drill holes in their cars.

There is "tech.vw.com" which lists various recalls, instructions, and other Audi service info. I looked and only found a reference for replacement of a power sunshade on an A8.

But, they seem to add things there frequently and you might keep checking (besides finding other things of interest).

Installation, is very easy.. Yes it requires drilling two small hole in the rear deck and another two in the rear headliner..
