During hard cornering the dash coolant temp light flashes on and off. This occurs on right turns only and goes off immediatly. The coolant level is full and not running hot. Car is a 4kqs. Any thoughts?? Thanks.

I had the same problem with my 86 CGT. On mine there seem to be a problem with the radiator overflow tank and wouldn't allow all of the coolant back to the radiator upon cooling. You can directly fill the radiator via a tiny screw on top/passenger side with a small funnel. That CGT has been getting refilled 3-4 times a year for 5 years now according to its new owner.

I have seen this trouble light problem. You should not rule out air in the system making it seem that the coolant level is okay. Have your coolant system pressure checked to see if there is a very small and slow leak. And if you have replaced your coolant, have the heater set to all the way hot while the engine is running with the cap off the overflow tank to heat the coolant more quickly, and to purge air out of the system.
