I was thinking of retrofitting the 99.5 headlight to my 97. After searching the archives, I notice Drew S did something similiar? Only his is the Euro version? Would you tell me how much and where did you get it? Is it OEM? If yes, can you post the part number?

Any help is appreciated.

<center><img src="http://131.107.68.28/a4org/fender_mod.jpg"></center><p>I have the 99.5 Euro projectors from Greedspeed. These are a one-piece light (headlight and corner light in one). They are OEM for European A4s and are made by Valeo. Bulbs are H7/H7 high and low with *NO* fog lights. Total price was $629 + shipping. I'll have a more complete write-up with pictures next week sometime.

The picture above was sent to me by Greedspeed. It shows the left front fender after removing the headlight and corner light (also the bumper is removed). This picture shows the part of the fender that must be removed (by cutting or grinding) in order to get the new lights to fit. The jagged line shows approximately where you must cut. The removed material is hidden when the lights are installed. I did not have to remove the bumper to make this modification.

So, is there any other difference between the European OEM and the US version other than the small clear and orange corner?
Also, do you notice any actual benefit other than the good look? Is it brighter than your old one?
