A while back I posted a question regarding my '82 and its reluctence to start smoothly when it was warm/hot. It was a beautiful afternoon today so I started tinkering. I removed all the vacum hoses from the cam cover and intake and washed them all out. I took that thermo sensor thing (below CSV) off and gave it a shot of WD40 and brake cleaner. Put everything back together and the symptom was still there. I unplugged the CSV and she flashed right up! My question is now, how do I check were the problem is? I'm assuming the thermo thing regulates the CSV, therefore the problem could conceivably either or. Any ideas?
