I was driving my 86 4000 down a highway at about 70 mph. I was checking out the handling by swerving back and forth on the highway and the car actually felt like it was gonna roll. Im thinking the struts and shocks are gone. Any suggestions on new ones that can take abuse for a good price?

Boge turbo gas shocks are step one.
Front sway bar from a CGT may be bigger (I have one you can have really cheap!), or a 4kq front bar which is huge.
Look at the location of the strut towers and the firewall and you'll see that a strut brace should be the last thing you do, as there isn't a lot of flex there like in a lot of other cars. I have had one for about 3 years and still haven't installed it!
Addco makes a rear bar which works well, but I don't recommend it without upgrading the front first, as it may may the car too tail-happy.
I have the sway bar upgrades on my CGT and am pretty happy with it without springs, though I may get some anyway since it's mostly a track car now.

which would mean that i have a huge front sway bar, can i just throw in the rear one worry free? ive heard it does exactly what you said which is why i havent put one in yet..

Find a 4kq guy with the rear sway bar and get the REAL story.
You've got a lot more weight back there than I do, so it's possible, though I would think it would also tend to keep the car more planted.
The guy I bought my Addco bar from said his 4k was too loose in the back with it...well, yeah, if all he did was put the rear bar on I can see that. In concert with the front bar it works beautifully. Don't believe all the rumours until you know for sure from someone with some sense!

the running rate for install of all this is abought 450 canadian if you got friends like me u can get it done for a 24 pack and a pizza :)

ahh the 24 and a pizza deal, I feel for the guys that cant take advantage of something like that.
