I recently purchased a low mileage JT engine from a q-lister. i had it send off to the machine
shop and had new pilot bearing, leakdown test, new studs, all new seals
front crank, front cam, rear main, comes complete with intake, exhaust header, and header downpipe.
it runs great, just the car had frame damage (i realized this too late in the project)
drove the car for about 5000 miles after this, running mobil 1 15/50 changing the oil every 1000 miles..
the engine leaks NO oil at all..
i was thinking somewhere in the $300 obo range.
this engine came out of a car with a bad Auto and
only had 70,000 miles before all of this work..
it runs VERY strong, new Timing belt and water pump
and idler installed as well.
Just pulled it this weekend..
and it's located in the Dallas area.
