I'm looking for a mid-80's 4000. Don't have deep knowledge of Audi yet. Spotted an ad for a GT Quattro. Didn't know the GT came with Quattro, and KBB doesn't show it as a model. Is this a typo? If not, what should it sell for? It appears to be in GC, stick, 80k. Thanks for any feedback.

I have a set of pictures that has a "GT" Audi 4000 in it, and ive been wondering the same thing. The rear end says Audi 4000S GT.....Quattro. I wasnt sure if the GT was just stuck on there or not.

A coupe GT is not a quattro. To see a CGT, click on http://www.mongrelmotorsports.homestead.com/Audi.html
A coupe quattro is the same, but with quattro. Not sold in the USA.
A turbo quattro coupe (Ur-Q) is what the name implies. It has the bulged fenders and looks way cool. It was only sold here from about 82-85. Rare and expensive.
That's low miles for an 86. Mine has 145,000 or so, they really don't care. I think they thrive on being driven a lot. Best of both worlds, if you ask me. The reliability and inexpensive parts of the 4k but the 5 cylinder engine. Kind of hard to put a value on one with that kind of miles.

Thanks for the responses. Now that I have familiarozed myself with this site a little more, I noticed that the Model Guide provides some clarity. Go to 1986 > Quattro, this may be the car advertised. Any idea what I should offer assuming GC to VGC? Thanks.
