The CGT project started to breathe again!!!
I finally, after 8 months, turned it on yesterday.
I changed the oil, then put a brand new yellow top Optima battery, and the door bell started to chime again.
Turned the key and it STARTED!!! Even the idle is stable!!!
This is for all the people that helped me on the past year or so.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!

The likes of Miktip, Dwight V., fast928, and others.

I even took a chance driving around my cul-de-sac.

I still need to set the alignment and toe, torque the bolts that require wheel on the ground, and put the home made exhaust on it, and the first phase will be completed.

Thanks again, and btw the 2nd phase starts pretty soon so don't go away, I'll need more help.

Carlos.

ps. Just to validate the event, the third brake light is on all the time. I was so excited with the success, that I disconnected the battery and only tonight I'll track down why is it on?

You're 100% sure the other brakelights are working properly?

Well, the taillight panels sometimes melt and then the brakelights don't go on at all; the little tangs seperate from the plastic and the circut... then if your brakelight switch at the brake lever is stuck on, the only thing you might notice is the 3rd light. I know it's a long shot, but i went though something similar when my tailbrake lights wouldn't work

hope it helps
