ok i got the bung, but not the 02 sensor, the only one i have found is a 3 wire bosch with a big plug at the end, i want a universal one right? if so what do i do with the other 2 wires the pos and grnd for the oxygen sensor?

You'll probably have to just lop the plug off the 3 wire one, I don't know that they make a 3 wire universal.
There should be one black and two white wires I think. Black one goes to the plug you already have. One white wire goes to the coil +, the other goes to ground.

You'll have to go to a parts store and spend an hour or two digging through their stock of sensors to come up with one, but they're there, it just takes a little patience.

The part I have successfully used is a part for a Ford, Bosch p/n 03 913. About $30 at the local generic chain autoparts store. Either: Go to junkyard and get the male plug from a wrecked Mustang and splice it in place of the stock Audi plug, create an adapter from the old sensor and the Mustang plug, or cut off the plug from the sensor and splice direct.

Does the bosch 03 913 fit 83 Audi 4000S with 105 cid 4 cylinder??
