I have the 87.5 "special build" coupe... i was talking to someone at Blau and they told me that becuase it has an automatic trans it's even more "rare"... it has the leather seats(all but driver's are perfect)and no foglights.. now i would like to ask your thoughts on doing stuff to the car like adding a rear swaybar, strut brace, debadging it.. stuff like that..
should i keep the car stock becuase it has inherent value, or is the menial value only important to the most insane audi collector who would want my car stock and who i will never ever meet?

thanks!

Dave

Automatic Coupe GTs are rare? I have an 84 Coupe GT, but is it really rare? That's pretty hard to believe, but I can't say that I would complain if it was true. Hehe. ;)

Well i'm sure they are not in the great scheme, but i haven't seen a single automatic 4000 series car yet, and the guy at blau was telling me it's hard to get drive-train stuff cuz it's "rare"--whatever that means... i think maybe he meant to say "expensive"
