The guy said The ECU was not getting and power, I say, not if it is sitting on the passenger seat like that.
The stereo and speakers are gone but ther old and new "system wires ar stil there. One of the previous owners tried to "fix" it so there are wires cut and retaped all over the car. There are other wire that have been cut and do not go anywhere. I do not know what they are for.
Ithink there is no way to fix the car without a wiring diagram and the owner and shop who tried only made things worse.
What kind of books are available? wireing and mechanic.
The body damage is not that bad and I can finesse the interior to beauty. The Rims and tires are good.
The trunk has a beam running across the impact beaqms, is the spare suppose to go There? The spare tire is gone with the tools butthere is a jack and a new distributer rotor.
The shifter dose not move clean. There is about an inch of vertical play. Is this something that can be adjusted to work?
The windshield also has a crack, How much is a new one.
I was Think about this as a "Hurt box"( My brothers had an old triumph that ran but the floorboards were rusted out and you could be like Fred Flintstone) This would be a bit of a project with the wiring but it would be an almost fair car if I could get it running. The guy siad he would like to get $250, but I am thinking $50 and If he agrues it up I will make him tow it to my garage rather than oweing my boss a favor. But it all depends on what you you guys say about the wiring.
