What's the best way to paint the audi emblem on the grill of my coupe to match the body color?
Should i de-chrome it before i primer it?
what's the best way to get it off the grill and then back on?
Thanks

have friends with VW's that do it all the time.
You do know that the emblem is plastic right?
It can't be dechromed per say. However you can sand it up enough to get rid of some of the "chrome." Roughing it up also helps the paint adhere a little better...
I'd use a good paint that is geared towards plastics/rubber. Use a couple of coats and then use a clearcoat for protection...
The emblem itself should just pop off with some force. Be careful to not break of the little prongs on the backside. To reattach use your favorite adheasive. I generally use silicone for this kind of stuff...
Others will probably have better ideas for you:)

Several coats helps the stone chips stay away!
