i went to the junkyard this weekend and saw a new one i never seen before, it was called Audi 4000 5+5 (had a 5cyl and 5spd) looked just like my car except the 2 door coupe version, same size engine compartment(yea i measured it) everything was the same except the engine and it was 2 door compar'd to mine, so does anyone know exactly how many different 4000's they had?

i know of these
4000 Sedan (4door)
4000C (Coupe?)
4000S (Sport)
4000 4E (Economy)
4000 5+5 (5Cyl+5Spd)
4000 Quattro (4wd)

im not sure what ones had the turbo, i think just the sport and quattro

and i remember seeing a post about a cannon ball edition once

...with Gotti wheels, Recaro leather interior, and Brock Yates' signature on the back. I think they came with momo steering wheels, too, but mine has a regular Audi wheel on it, I think the guy I bought it from took the momo wheel out of it and put it in another car of his. But other than the wheels and interior, it's a stock 4000, a Porsche/Audi dealer in Florida put very few of them together, I've heard figures varying from 15 to 50. Either way, it's rare.

The 4000 platform was the UrQ, Coupe, Coupe GT, and 4000 2- and 4-door sedans with varying drivetrains.

Actually there were only 12 made. They come with Gotti wheels, Nardi steering wheel, oversized gas tank, Recarro Seats, Euro Transmission.
