Hi all,

I have not got a Bentley's manual for he Fox yet ( pretty straight forward) I know mu o2 sensor is bad but looked all over and can't find it ! Can anyone be a pal and see if they know where it is located for me? <p> I have been tweaking on the car , removed the mouse nest in the air cleaner which is making it run much better! New o2 sensor and fuel injectors and it should run like new !

Checked the 1979 Fox exhaust on the ol' Family Album. No Oxygen Sensor listed there. My 1980 5000 doesn't hace an OXS, but I believe that they were fitted starting around 1980/81

Hmmmmm.....that's probably why I can't find one ! There is a listing for a CA emissions on a 79, so I bet CA cars had one but others did not. Now I hope that changing out my fuel injectors will help it idle better and run less less rich !

Before you replace the injectors you might want to get a Bentley and check the system for proper adjustment, and check the injectors for proper spray pattern. There are some write-ups on the Vortex that would get you close.

By the way, nice score on the Fox, I can't believe I missed that!
