Does anyone have any goood websites that can tell me how each of these companies (DKW, NSU, Wanderer and Horch) started? All I can get that Ive found useful was a few paragraphs off of the Audi.com site, and one or two posts on these forums. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Audi-A History Of Progress. It's the definitive book on Audi history. Bought mine on Ebay, but you can probably source it through the used booksellers on Amazon also. I think generally they go for about $25.

There is a book that Audi in Ingolstadt published about the whole history of Audi (pre-war and also the Auto Union and the post war Audis. Audi-A History Of Progress. It is a beautiful book and worth reading!

Try a site called www.abebooks.com ; I've bought several Audi books from a variety of sellers there.
Also, I have published my own e-book on the history of Audi (from a philatelic point of view); see www.freewebs.com/audiphilately for more info.

I did my masters at Cambridge on Auto-Union and Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix cars. Let me know what your focus is, and I can direct you to some good sources.
