Help, what is this vehicle? I was junkyarding in Eastern Colorado for a 1950 Pontiac parts car and saw this incredibly cute little coupe--had (missing) the ghost of 4 rings on the rear deck so I speculated it was a 50's era Audi. I wrote down the above script from the front fender--maybe the first n was an h? The 3-6 was on the trunk lid. I may be able to buy it so another can restore it. had a really little engine in the compartment-like an European urban use midget car. Looked in great shape-no rust, glass good, looked intact too. Please clue me in! Harley in CO.

...DWKF 12, DWK junior, DWK F 91 or if its got tail fins and looks like alittle 57 t-bird, an Auto Union 1000Sp coupe. I can't find a thing about Sonaerklasse 3-6 in "a History in Progress"

He most likely means "Sonderklasse" but I believe this was more a 40s Audi. Most likely a 1000 coupe or something, late 50s, early 60s

The DKW 3=6 was a 2 stroke engine and it was so smooth that the 3=6 refers to 3 cylinders that is equal to 6 cylinders. The Sondernklasse was the luxury edition in the DKW / Auto Union range of cars. Look at the website www.dkw.co.za to see many of these wonderful little cars.

http://www.dkw.co.za</a
