I remember it as a young child, we would play around it. I thought my father got rid of the car long ago. BUT to my surprise, I found it sitting in the weeds/woods that surrounds the farm. I remember my father saying that it was an Auto Union.
Can someone confirm this? and perhaps give more information about the car?
Is this car worth restoring? Can anyone tell me what it may be worth? and If I restored it what It it be worth??
Can you still find parts?? If so where?

What you have is what I started with if you look down at the previous post. It's an early 60's Auto Union (DKW) 1000 or 1000S. They started the wrap-around windshield in 1961 I think. The last year was 1963 or 1964. It has a 3 cyl. 2-cycle engine with 44 or 50hp depending on model. From the picture it isn't worth much as is..maybe a couple of hundred dollars if you can find a buyer.Restored it may be worth $3000-$4000. Is it worth restoring?? is anything?? It's not a high demand automobile despite being very interesting technically. It's like so many cars, you can spend $10,000 and countless hours to have a car worth $4000 ??? If it has a special place in your life or you enjoy such odd things (like me) then by all means go for it..if not sell it.
