Stumbled into this discussion and it's way cool! I'm a nut about old Audis, aka DKW! I have an extensive background working on these critters and will gladly answer any questions folks might have about "Das Kleine Wunder!" Currently I own three DKWs but have had over 20 at times! I also have replied to a few of the threads below this one. I look forward to talking to you Audi-nuts!

You might just be the man I need to talk to.
I have recently purchased a 1937 F7 cab....
How far back does your knowledge go on these fantastic lil wonders. Can you tell me if all the timber framing in the firewall and windscreen pillars are all the same on the models of the same year. I can see that dependant on coupe or cab or saloon they are different shapes in the rear end but what about the front. My timber is almost non existent and I dont have templates to re-create the framing.
I want to keep the vehicle original and as such wish not to "steel" it out. I have restored the rolling chasis with brakes and steering etc...and have an army of engines & GB's something like 6 or 7 crankcases and 5 gearboxes complete and a full set of steel body panels (I think).
But cannot proceed to put it together as I have minimal framing and no manuals etc...
Can you suggest a source for either timber or manuals/technical data.
