Hi there!
If you know of, or have seen an old DKW or Auto Union (three cylinder, 2-stroke cars) which may be available for sale, or is facing a date with the crusher, contact me or somebody at the DKW Club of America (www.DKWClub.org). Our newsletter is produced quarterly, and we have members worldwide so any leads would be appreciated (ads are run for 3 issues at no charge). Regardless of whether the car is a mint,Pebble Beach Concours-ready car, or a rusty hulk with trees growing out of it - it'll have a part that somebody in the club needs. The cars are easily identified by either the "Audi rings" in the grille, or the presence of 3 ignition coils (1 for each of the 3 cylinders).
Thanks for your help.

1958 Auto Union 1000, 3 cyl 2 stroke, fwd, missing 1 headlight assy, fr bumper needs repair, bootlid needs some repair. Mostly complete, def a restorable car. Original 15" wheels
1960ish Auto Union F11, 1963 license plates, last registered in 1968. 3 cyl 2 stroke with the generator acting as the fan rod on top of motor. FE collision, needs some parts but mostly complete. original 12" wheels

There is also a 1957 Borgward Isabella 2dr saloon with a 4cyl 8 valve motor, and a Humber Super Snipe at the same yard. 2 4dr hilmans, 1 is a minx, I know of 2 others in the area too, not sure on details. And a Rover TC from early 70s I'd say, has factory smith tach and a really strange straight speedometer.

Yer in luck! I have a couple of DKWs for sale. One is a Schnellaster, or a delivery van, running and needs not a lot to be again a daily driver. It would come with a parts van! The other is my 1000SP. I WILL NOT part with it cheap so only serious buyers! I also ahve a Universal wagon which could be restored but is mainly a parts car. Email me at: vrooomie@qwest.net and I'll gladly answer all inquiries and questions. I also ahve a extensive background in the care, feeding, and repair of these weirdo German cars! I live in the Denver area.
