Has anyone had any problems with the dash on their '96 A4?? I just noticed that where the dash meets the windshield and windshield frame on the passenger side, it is beginning to come up--almost buckling/curling. It looks like it could be from heat, but it is not regularly exposed to direct sunlight. Any input would be helpful.

I had my dash replaced under the extended warantee last month. If you still have warantee time, get it taken care of. It is a firly expensive part, $1400 I think, and takes several hours to replace, so I'm not sure what I would reccommend otherwise.

Same on mine (96 also)...although I have an extended warranty (a MUST, by the way), I haven't bothered getting it fixed. I might do something at my next (first) windshield replacement.

1/ fixed dash (no replacement) had this done twice, once under warrantee, and once not. It will keep re-occuring it appears. They have to
remove the windshield to do this, so I did this
cause my glass was craked anyway.

2/ replace dash--costly, seems like good fix.
Some complaints of dash squeeking, etc after though. (that is a big complex part to replace)

so there are down sides to both solutions, but
fix it while u still have warrantee!!!!!
