Its like a bad break up that you never want to happen. I only hope I don't end up making long distance phone calls to Ron's house in the middle of the night, and all you hear on my end is the sound of someone breathing. LOL! I'm sure they'll end sooner or later.

its still not perfect. not at all. It was loads of fun but still had a laundry list of things i'd have liked to do to it to get it in really good shape. its rough .. but stick to it, and if you start with a good base, you'll end up with a nice car.

That's what I am doing. Though I must be a glutton for punishment, because I am attempting something I've seen no write-up's or discussion on. Swapping the entire 4.2L chassis harness, HVAC system and other bits from my (PASHAMAD's) 92 4.2L v8q. along with a list of other things (like a 6-speed, and dual adjust koni's).

There is just something about fixing up a car that is addicting. Here comes a few hundred of freaking hours under, in and around this car. It will be nice when I have the 5k mile rebuilt high performance engine (thank you Pasha) stuffed into the 90 chassis with a decent looking front clip, fully functioning exterior electronics, and the thing lowered ~2" on externally adjustable (daul adjust) koni coil overs. It will be truly nice and once the engine is all up and running and the car handles I'll worry about what's next.

not anything as unique as a V8Q, but I took pix as the buyer of my 99.5 A4 drove it away, and of my '06 Avant as the dealer's driver drove it away a few weeks ago....

Until they wholesale it off because no one wants it due to the number of high performance mods and the general customer's fears that the car had obviously been abused (which it definetly hadn't). So the dealer strips off the Miltech exhaust,Stop Tech 355 BBK,Sway bars,Ultimate Pedals,and black/granite S-/4 grill so he can sell it as a "certified pre-owned" Audi and wholesales the car. Someone at the dealership got some nice parts for free for their S-4. Thats' life....I did cry a bit on that one;+)
I feel ya Bro ;+(. At least it wet to a good home.

I'd like to thank Em &amp; his bro for there hospatality.

Got to Mark'y Mark's place in VA. No need to say how enjoyable that was ;-) I got to finally see his V8 in DER flesh...WHAT A CAR!
I then went to Bruce's @ GAC. I all most missed him...but he turned around &amp; me, Bruce, &amp; one of his new mech's June went to get some lunch. It's all way's great to see Bruce!
Well while in VA...SUFFOLK....the Tornado's waited for me to all most leave before the destruction. I drove rite by that Walmart that got leveled. Close call!

But I'm home with the car.
Get ready for a MONSTER to be built! I'm not going to F around this time thinking I can get big power out of a 3.6.
Time to unleash the beast!
