BTW reminds me of my first Audi and '81 5*5 sans turbo, two more driven wheels , two more doors and probably about 100hp, but still brings back good memories...Looks like a fun event!!!!!

work on the T-44. They are euro lights specific to the T-85(4k).

any 200 model headlights, or any 100 headlights - though that involves changing the grill and the look of the front of the car to a (my opinion) less desirable look. The only other option is to go the custom route by removing the glass from your current headlights (the beam pattern on the OEM's can't be used for anything), and installing some projector lamps in the stock housing and making a custom lexan cover.

A more speculative option is to buy a HID kit for about $80 shipped from http://www.vvme.com/ They get rave reviews and are said to work great. One of my good buddies just put some into his A4 with euro lights. Either way, if you removed the stock glass and replaced with lexan, I'm not sure how the beam pattern would come out... likely pretty poor, I suppose since there would be no cut off. Scratch that idea. Projectors are the only reasonable other option to Euros, I think.

Now, if you got the euros and then replaced the H3/H4 component with the xenons... and left the driving lights halogen (or replaced those with Xenons!!) that would be a pretty tricked out, ultra modern option.

There are still certain things I miss about my 200... the euro headlights rank up there as one of the best things I ever did to the car.

So my wife's cousin is getting married at the outer banks in North Carolina that friday. (Who the heck schedules a wedding during Carlisle for crap sakes!? ;)

It's about a 10 hour drive from there to Carlisle I believe. So option one would be to go to the wedding and then haul her and the baby to Carlisle. That would put the kybosh on camping though.

Option 2 would be to drive 2 cars and go to Carlisle after the wedding.

Option 3 (my favorite) is to talk her out of going so it's a non-issue. This is where scheming comes in. I really don't want to haul our baby clear out to the coast but the wifey doesn't have a lot of family and it's a big deal to her so I don't know. Any ideas? ;-)
