The Audi 3 year or 60K maintenance free program covers a lot.

But does that mean I need not worry about oil changes, topping up the oil, washer fluid, etc...?

Should I really just let my dealer worry about all these little things?

The "Audi Advantage" program covers 3 years or 50k miles. Everything should be covered. From windshield wiper blades and light bulbs to a new engine are covered.
Having said that, I would let the dealerships do the routine maintence but would not bother them
with oil top offs. (Unless you have a lot of time on your hands or have a dealership that lets you just drop in for these type of things.)

I've only had my A4 for about 4 months, but I've had a '97 A6 wagon for 2 1/2 years. In that time the only money it's cost me is gas and exterior cleaners/waxes that I've purchased. I've never had to "top off" the oil, never run out of washer fluid between routine maintenance visits to the dealer (it's a big reservoir, but I suppose some people use a lot more of it than others). Nothing major has gone wrong with the car since we've owned it, but the dealer has promptly addressed little problems without charge. My WIFE has managed to lose TWO remote key fobs. You do NOT wanna do that, trust me.
