Hello All,

Got the new turbo in and she runs like a top. I can't get over how nice this car drives on the highway being 20 years old! Anyway, the only downside is the oil pan drain plug is stripped (of course "it was like that when it came in"). New pan and plug goes in tomorrow.

thanks again for everyones input!

It came in like that.....um, sure it did. The repair for that damage can be as simple as welding and retapping the hole - you could also tap in a larger plug. In order to avoid future stripped plugs, you could install a Fumoto drain valve (I use one made by Fr@m....don't tell anybody!)
Hey, so long as the pan's off....you might think about installing a windage tray and/or and aluminum pan from a 7A. Of course, those things will make the wallet shrink more....just a thought, though.
Cheers!
