I asked for a few additional items to be done at the same time as the first oil change (Thanks to the info I've gotten from this list):
1. C/D pillar dent removal: I asked if they had ever done this, and they said no, and were not aware of any technical service bulletin from Audi saying how to do it. In fact they had never seen the dents, and were not aware this was a factory defect. (Unfortunately, I did not take a print out of the TSB).
2. Remote reprogramming: They said it was not covered, and would not do it.
3. Have doors lock automatically at 15mph: Would not do it. Said something about the computer getting messed up...
I went to Downtown because they were the only dealer who would take me without an appointment. Rusnak in Pasadena could make me an appointment on November 16 at the earliest. Just for the oil change.
Is it true that the reprogramming/locks issue is not officially performed by the dealers?
