I am wanting to improve the lighting on my 91 100q. I am undecided whether to put them on top or bottom of the bumper. pics would help if there are any.

The lighting on my 100 is poor also. Before fog lights, I plan to install relays for the headlights. This did wonders on an old Mustang of mine.

I don't have a pic, but mine are mounted below. I think on top looks like a rally car which looks silly for regular driving. I can try to get a picture taken if you need.

Several on this forum have done it this way. Very OEM looking, and works great. The side markers make better turn signal blinkers as you can see them from both the front and side.

Several here have also bought 100 E-code (Euro's) head lights from the linked site (me too, but not pictured). They are reasonably priced, very good quality and looks, and provide great lighting!

Any way you choose will be an improvement on the stock DOT lighting.<ul><li><a href="http://www.importvision.com/index.php?display=show_part.php&amp;PartMake=Audi&amp;sele ct_PartType=Headlights">http://www.importvision.com/index.php?display=show_part.php&amp;PartMake=Audi&amp;sele ct_PartType=Headlights</a</li></ul>

stock lights is the reflection pattern off of the front glass - it just disperses light all over the place not in a direct pattern onto the road.

Another thought on a non-intercooler car would be to throw driving lights into/behind the grille. I think you would have plenty of room without the intercooler (though I am not certain of this).

and did you use the existing allen bolt under the bumper?

I knew I was doing something wrong but couldn't find any info on it in the reader tips section.

To be honest they (Hellas) were on the car when I bought it so I haven't paid much attention to how they are mounted. Fairly painless install I imagine.

The car unintentionally looks like a twin of Steve Ankney's but I doubt he minds considering how few white on black leather 5ktq's are out there :)
