Been considering winter mats and like the way the LLTEK M&S winter mats look but am concerned that the Audi hold down post cut-outs prepunched in the drivers side mat will let in water from rain/snow versus all rubber mats like RubberQueen or WeatherTechs.
I'm also concerned about the cutouts fitting my 99.5 that has the newer snap type of post to lock down the mats. I would hate to spend the $99 for the LLTEK's vs $45 for the RubberQueens only to find that the LLTEKS leak out.
Any feedback/info from owners would be appreciated.

They fit in so well, that I don't use the lock down clips. You can line them up on the posts and water, etc won't get through holes any worse than it would with the clips on. I've never had a problem (but I never really got that much water or snow in the car). I like them so much, I just left them in all summer. 8^)

bought them this summer for the sand, leaving them in for the snow. very good fit for a product not specifically designed for A4. Holds sh*tload of water too. I don't know if the LLtek come in colors, but the black looks great with my onyx interior.

I have the weathertechs and have been very, very pleased with them. They hold a ton of water and look excellent against the Onyx interior.

I have the LLtek mats in a 99.5--like them so much i tossed the oem's. doubt they'll hold as much mung as the weathertechs--but they look much better imho. besides--how much snow and ice do you plan to melt on them? if you do manage to fill the LLteks, they probably will leak through the cut outs--so for max protection you'll want the weathertechs. me--i prefer the look and feel of the LLteks-i'll bang my boots together before i get in.

I like the looks of the LLTek better. The hole for the clips is only like 1/4" diameter and the cap goes in pretty tight. Unless you are going to pour a gallon of water in there, I don't think it should really cause a leakage problem.

...somehow they keep disapearing...must be a conspiracy from the LLTek mat owners ;-)
I'll try reposting them tomorrow and I'll also email them to you.
