I go to get the paper and smokes this morning after it sitting most of the day yesterday, after I come out of the store there is literally a steady stream of oil and what looks like a light brown substance. perhaps burnt oil, oozing from directly under the tranny leaking from somewhere. WTF could have happened to make it leak so bad so fast..... I did not driveover anything to damage anything in the undercariage. I can't drive her now it's leaking so bad. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Is this a V8? You should include model/year.
If it's a V8,it could be tranny oil cooling lines to the radiator.

the oil pressure sensors. Happened on my 85 and to Russ's 88.
My suggestion is to clean all the oil up. Check all fluid levels. If it's just oil, top up and start the engine. see if you can see where it's leaking If not, drive easily around the block then check for leaks again. That should help you locate the source.

OK, the image is for a 100 5-cylinder auto trans (which I assume you have because you say you have a dipstick and the manual tranny does not have a dipstick).

Item # 54 is the oil filler tube through which the dipstick passes. Item # 49 is the gasket. This is the oil sump (oil pan) gasket, not the "head gasket", which seals your engine block and cylinder head interface.
That may be it ....... Im gonna go get dirty and see . Kneale you are saving my life here man ......
