Has anyone experienced a problem with the button on the selector lever getting stuck?
I pulled into my driveway tonight, turned off the car and was unable to remove the key from the ignition. I finally realized that the button in the handle of the lever was stuck. I banged (lightly) on the lever and the button came out. I was then able to remove the key. Anyone know if there is an easy fix for this? I plan to call the dealer tomorrow, I just want to know what to expect. Thanks

I forgot this info about the car. It's a 1999.5 A4 1.8T Quatro/Auto with 700 miles.
