I want to try and contact them myself.
I just feel sooo sorry paying $153 to the already fat dealership for that small tiny plastic box with two buttons and a battery in it.
Isn't it stupid?!

Any replys welcome.
Thanks.

If it helps, Clair and Impex both have them for about $125-130..... It's a little cheaper and you don't have to pay the dealer..... It's what I did after my dealer sold me a used A4 claiming it didn't have the keyless entry system.

You might want to try Circuit City. They might not have the same remote control, but they can program a remote to work with your car. Their remotes cost $50.

By the way, I had an aftermarked remote and receiving unit installed in my car for $199. It's called "Your Valet," and it's made by Directed Electronics Inc. It works pretty well.
