I got a used one with a code but it doesn't work. Just wanted to see if someone can corroborate the number.

Hopefully you can get it to work. I was never able to.

The code I got from the dealer was the same as the one on the card that came with the radio. Heck, I even had the service manager at the dealer come out to the car and input the code, no go.

ISTR there being a default code for rebuilt radios, but I tried 0000 and 1111, no go.

Good luck!

When I got the code for the radio in my 200q20v avant, the dealer entered the VIN of my car, and the serial number off the radio. No dice, they said something about invalid VIN number.

THEN, they entered the vin of a 2003 A4 they were working on, and my radio serial number, "Your radio code is 1708, sir." It was free, too!

I suspect that the VIN they enter has to be a VIN in the dealer's or Audi's database.
