Many poeple out there think if they rev their engine to the red zone is dangerous. It is not at all.
With proper maintainance and if you know what you are doing to your car, is perfectly safe.
Shame on those poeple who shift gear at 2000-3000rpm!!!

Power falls off after about 5700 rpm, and the gear ratios are close enough that you don't need to redline to stay in the power band. So why do it?

Because most of the newer car, the computer will record your habit of driving, if you use to shift between 2500-3500 the computer will get use to it, and when sometime you want to full throttle, it will not respone as fast as it can. My philosophy is-Hit the redline once awhile, and your engine will be healthy.
