The chrome is pitting and peeling, time to make it black. I've got it off and partly apart, the bars are steel, but what are these castings? If they're aluminum I can send them out for black anodizing free. I'll have to find aluminum tubing or bar stock to make the rails, open the ends up on a lathe.
