just got my 98.5 A4 back from service and dealer tells me that the camshaft controller is faulty and it has to be replaced. He gave me the car anyway and told me it was ok to drive. Anybody ever experience this? Why does it occur and are there any noticable symptoms (mine manifested as check engine warning light that stayed on for several days).
