i have a 00 1.8tmq with a garrett chip. i have 800 to spend on the audi, what do you all recomend, and how much does it cost??

It looks like your sig says 00 tmq, but no "S"

you'll really enjoy your chip far more if you have a suspension put in. For $800, you can almost afford a used sport springs/shocks, installation and alignment. (roughly figure about $400 for springs/shocks, $300 for work, $100 for alignment) For about an extra $400, you can go with aftermarket springs/shocks for a bigger jump in handling performance.

Brian makes a good recomendation, if you've got standard suspension then upgrading to sport or aftermarket is a good idea.

Another idea is get to a drivers ed event or two (about $250 each). Also, if you've got all season tires consider upgrading them to summers (about $400 if you go with SP8000's), but wait til spring for that unless you live somewhere really warm.
