Eveyone thanks for all your help. Still working on my 87'CSTurbo. I troubleshooted my no spark down to two items, bad distributor and bad RPM reference sensor. I installed a used distributor and used reference sensor and I get spark. NOW I'm not getting gas.
This sucks cause I replaced the fuel pump about 4 months ago on this quest to get this damn car working.
I checked for 12volts at the pump and I'm getting 11.6. but I don't hear the pump running. I'm using used parts and this might be the problem. I might just bite the bullet and get new parts.
Anyway any suggestions on a non working fuel pump?

Are you getting pressure at the fuel rail? The pump comes on briefly when you first turns the engine over, but it doesn't stay on until the engine have started (Audi safety measure to stop the fuel pump in case of a front end collision. Don't want fuel being pumped with the engine stopped could start a fire).

Could also be a bad fuel pump relay or a bad CSV cold start valve. The CSV in another injector located at the back of the intake manifold. This car does not have a choke and the CSV is used to enrich the mixture on a cold engine.

Try removing the hose between the intercooler and throttle body, then shoot some starting fluid into the throttle body. See if this will start the car. Fuel will not get to the injectors until the air plate have moves up.
