Hi, Newbie to the board. I am considering purchasing an A4 Avant as a 'keeper' car. Was looking at used but are their big advantages to the newer models? What would you buy? Thanks for the help...

BTW - Walked out of Rector because they were rude and purchased a Boxster from Carlsen. Very friendly and efficent. Thankfully, I have never had to use the service.

Yeah, when I was looking to get my A4, a Porsche salesman helped me at Rector since no Audi rep was available at the time. He wasn't very helpful and acted like selling an Audi was beneath him unless I was buying that day. But a number of people who have dealt with Dave (the Audi rep) at Rector have had great experiences.
