Anyone know how to access the housings to replace the bulbs?

...my '97 manual shows you how to replace almost every single bulb (exterior and interior). I'd look in the manual.

Remove the grid besides the for assembly, both sides. Then, pull out the plastic triangle shaped cover on the fog light, they are held with 3 clips, easily removed. Unscrew three screws. Then, you have to kind of push the fog light assembly inwards, and then pull it out with a certain angle. The rubber piece on the assembly might be on the way, but just pull it out a little more force, it won't hurt anything. Then, twist off the round cover at the back of the fog assembly, unplug the connector, unclip the light bulb, and VoLAA, you can put in different bulb.
I don't know if there's other easier way. But this only takes me about 20 minutes including reassemble. Have fun.

putting some aftermarket light to replace your fog light in your 99.5?? Yesterday night, I saw a 99.5 A4 2.8 w/ only fog light on in Toronto (DRL), but it's in a kinda white color. I want to know what kind of bulb he's using and shouldn't those aftermarket bulb will crack the light housing due to its hot??

The Jahns emit a whiter light at the same wattage as the stock lights, so there's no excessive heat.
