Somewhat pricey for a car that doesn't run. Would it be a good car? Sure, rust free, sport seats, euros,... But, still a little high.

My dad's car. Nice car, Pearl w/ grey leather interior. All records, professionally maintained, everything works other than one window (suspect broken wire), Driver's seat heater (easy fix), no AC, and the stock boost guage only hits 1.3 (have not been able to figure out the reason. I do know that I can't feel the turbo spool up like I can in my 20v.)and we could negotiate something about getting it checked out. I go to college 2 hours away so it makes it difficult and is why I haven't done it yet. Perfect leather on Grey sport seats, aftermarket clarion cassette with 10 disc changer, front brakes changed from UFOs... to G60's? 4 nearly brand new Firestone affinity all seasons, recently re-done stock rims (powder coated and nearly blemish free).

Price is non-negotible, as he will not accept less than $4500 for the car and it will go to my younger sister instead.

If you, or anyone else is interested... thought I would throw it out there.

There are quite a few of 1991 on Ebay, going for really cheap.

Yesterday, a 1992 4.2L green V8 with 98K miles went for $4250 .

Man talk about cheap audis these days.

Anything over $2000.00 for either seems high. I don't know the price of a clutch anymore. I suspect the "lifetime warranty" on rear shocks is the lifetime of the purchaser. The last time I bought a German windshield (about 6 years ago) it was $700.00 installed.

Where's it located?

I would check the small vacuum(/boost) hose to the bypass valve. I bet it's bad and the reason for the lost boost. That's what mine was, and one of the first things to check.
