Alrighty.... now my 1989 200TQ is finally running right I'd like to get some more jam out of it. I've got a spare cap from the wreckers and I should have a new bolt to make the boost adjustable in short order.
1) How much boost can you run before the ecu can't make the fuel rich enough that things begin to burn?
2) If an ECU mod is necessary... what do you guys recommend? I've hard people slam TAP's offering... and I've heard good things about a one man operation in Washinton State. What's the verdict from those of you who have done the upgrades?
3) If you have done the cam too... what did it cost and what was the hp gain over just the ecu and spring mod?
4) I've heard that with new cam, larger turbo, ecu, and waste gate mods that seeing over 400ph is easy and the cars are still very streetable. Is this true? Running top pump gas still?
